In the past, special skills and a complicated process were necessary to unlock the AMD Athlon CPU. Today, this procedure is much more simplified, reversible and not dangerous for your hardware anymore by using the Unlocker AT-1 .
The Unlocker AT-1 is a small plate which has to be put between the CPU and the socket of the mainboard which is no problem at all because of the extremely slim built of the Unlocker. Afterwards, it is possible to adjust the BUS speed and the multiplicator in the BIOS Setup of the computer which is supported by nearly all modern mainboards. Therefore, it is possible to overclock the CPU to gain maximum performance! The manual states an example of a stable-running 2400+ CPU which has been overclocked by 12,5% (BUS speed +33%).
